With Workzoom, no minimum headcount. There are monthly floor prices, $400/month for HR alone, $700/month for the full platform, which naturally define the smallest practical size. Below those thresholds you pay the floor, not per-employee.
With Workzoom, none. Implementation, data migration, training, and ongoing support are all included in the subscription price. What you see on the pricing page is what you pay.
Month-to-month by default. No annual commitment required. If you choose to pay annually, you receive a 5% discount. Cancel anytime, your data exports with you at no cost.
With Workzoom, everything: implementation, data migration, training, all product updates, and ongoing support with a named contact, not a ticket queue. The price you sign at is the price you stay at as the product improves.
With Workzoom, 5% off for annual billing. Nonprofits receive an additional 5% off, stackable to 10% on annual billing.
Each suite adds $4 per employee per month. Because Workzoom is one platform with one employee record, adding a suite requires configuration, not a new implementation. Your existing data is already there.
02Getting started
Workzoom leads the implementation. Most clients go live in 2 to 4 months. No IT project required.

Workzoom's team leads the entire process, included in your subscription. You get a named implementation lead from day one, not a rotating project team. All training sessions are recorded for ongoing reference.
Minimal. Workzoom is cloud-native with no hardware, no server installation, and no infrastructure to manage. Your IT team may be involved for SSO configuration if required. That's typically the full extent of it.
Workzoom accepts any electronic format for historical employee and payroll data, included at no cost. Mid-year payroll cutover is fully supported with YTD balance import, so you don't need to wait until January to switch.
Workzoom uses a train-the-trainer approach, your team learns the system during implementation, and sessions are recorded so new staff can be onboarded without scheduling another training. Included in your subscription, no time limits.
The same team that implemented continues as your named support contact. There is no handoff to a generic ticket queue. Support is included in your subscription price, at the same responsiveness you received during implementation.
Yes. With Workzoom, mid-year payroll cutover is supported with YTD balance import. You do not need to wait until January. Most of our Bahamas and Caribbean clients have gone live mid-year without issue.
03Platform

Every change to an employee record is timestamped and stored as a new version, the original record is never overwritten. Salary changes take effect on the exact date they happen, payroll picks them up automatically, and you can retrieve any employee's record exactly as it existed on any past date. Retro pay from backdated changes is calculated automatically in the next pay run.
Directly. Approved time flows from scheduling through timekeeping into payroll with no CSV export or manual re-entry at any step. What was scheduled, approved, and worked is what gets paid, with the correct rates and rules applied automatically.

Yes. Workzoom supports SAML 2.0 SSO (Azure AD, Okta, OneLogin) and GL export to major accounting platforms. Common integrations include benefits carriers, background check providers, and accounting systems, handled through supported imports and connectors.

Built in the Caribbean. NIB, PAYE, NIS, NHT, the compliance is in the engine, not a workaround.

Yes. Workzoom calculates NIB employer and employee contributions automatically at current statutory rates, generates C10 monthly remittances for the National Insurance Board, and produces the C13 annual reconciliation at year-end. Full Bahamas payroll details here.

Yes. Payroll, scheduling, and HR for Nassau, Freeport, Grand Bahama, and the Family Islands run from a single system with location-specific work rules, pay rules, and cost centers. Island Luck manages 60+ locations this way.
Yes. Work permit expiry dates, professional certifications, and regulatory credentials are tracked per employee across all locations. Automated alerts go to supervisors before renewal deadlines, compliance gaps are surfaced before they become employment liabilities.
05Security
Canadian-owned. AWS in ca-central-1 (Montreal). Canadian data residency. Your data belongs to you, always.
All data is hosted in Canada on AWS in the ca-central-1 (Montreal) region. Data never leaves Canada for Canadian clients. Workzoom is 100% Canadian-owned. US data residency is available on request for US-based clients.
Canadian customer data stays in Canada on AWS (ca-central-1, Montreal), which carries ISO 27001 and PCI DSS certifications, and Workzoom is built on PIPEDA principles with AES-256 encryption, role-based access, and breach-notification controls. Some PIPEDA requirements, such as automatic candidate-data retention and deletion, are on our roadmap rather than enforced today. Security posture is validated through ongoing vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
No. Workzoom is 100% Canadian-owned and operated. Unlike US-headquartered vendors, there is no CLOUD Act exposure, your data cannot be compelled under US law. This is a meaningful distinction for regulated industries and government clients.
All data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.2+ using 2048-bit certificates. All data at rest is encrypted with AES-256. Passwords are hashed using PBKDF2 with salt and key stretching, not stored in any reversible format.
Real-time replication runs across AWS Availability Zones more than 100km apart. Daily encrypted backups use WORM with Object Locking. Full server images are taken weekly. Recovery time objective is 5 minutes to 8 hours. Recovery point objective is 24 hours maximum.
Yes. SAML 2.0 SSO with Azure AD, OneLogin, and Okta. Multi-factor authentication is enforced at your identity provider, and on all administrator access. Role-based access control goes down to the field level, HR and payroll access can be completely separated for segregation of duties.
Yes. A full data export in CSV and Excel formats is available at any time, at no cost. No proprietary formats. No ransom on exit. Your data is yours, before, during, and after your subscription.
06Migration
Migration is included. Most customers have moved from ADP, Dayforce, BambooHR, or spreadsheets, we've done it before.
Most commonly: ADP, Dayforce (Ceridian), Paycom, BambooHR, Humi, UKG, Payworks, and SAGE 300. Many customers also consolidate from disconnected point solutions, separate payroll, HR, and timekeeping tools that don't talk to each other.
Workzoom handles data migration as part of the included implementation. We accept any electronic format. The complexity depends on the state of your current data, structured data from a modern system is faster than spreadsheets, but both are manageable. Most migrations complete within 2 to 4 months total.
Yes. Mid-year payroll cutover is fully supported with YTD balance import. The majority of Workzoom implementations happen mid-year. You do not need to align with a calendar year-end to start.
